If you live in the District and received a warning about your vehicle registration, you may want to check online before waiting in line.
Letters were sent to some residents warning that their vehicle registration had been suspended because their insurance information was incomplete.
Officials at the Department of Motor Vehicles said there was a computer glitch that generated the letters.
The DMV is looking into the problem.
