A toddler-age girl was shot in Southeast D.C. on Saturday, police said.
Children were playing with a gun in an apartment building in the 2500 block of Pomeroy Road SE about 3:10 p.m., when the gun went off and shot the girl in the leg, police said.
The girl was conscious and breathing, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
