Missing 12-Year-Old Girl Found Safe, Police Say

A 12-year-old girl who disappeared Monday afternoon has been found safe, police say. 

Trinity Smith was last seen on the 800 block of Kenilworth Avenue NE just after 4 p.m. 

Smith was found safe Wednesday, D.C. police tweeted.
