A student at Georgetown University has reported being harassed by four men while walking near the intersection of 37th and Prospect streets NW early Monday morning.

According to a report filed with the university's Department of Public Safety, the men approached the student and started making comments about the student's perceived sexual orientation.

The student did not respond to their comments, continued walking, and reported the incident to DPS.

The student was not physically hurt by the men, who were described as white and about 6 feet tall with curly, dark hair, the DPS said.

One of the men was also described as heavy set, while another was described as slim. The student did not give any more information about the other two suspects.

The Department of Public Safety has asked that anyone who has information regarding this or any other incidents, or who noticed any possible suspects before or after the incidents, to contact them immediately at 202-687-4343.
