George Washington Parkway has reopened in Alexandria after officials closed the roadway because of a crash.
Lanes for traffic in both directions had reopened as of 5:15 p.m., after the roadway was entirely closed near the site of a two-car crash at George Washington Parkway and Belle Haven Road, U.S. Park Police said.
One person was taken to a hospital.
