Gay Pride Flag Burned at Adams Morgan Restaurant

Police say someone burned the flag not long after a mass shooting at a gay club in Orlando

A new LGBT flag is flying at a D.C. restaurant nearly a week after someone burned the restaurant's rainbow flag.

The burned flag hung outside Bourbon restaurant on 18th Street in the Adams Morgan neighborhood.

D.C. police believe someone burned the gay pride flag sometime between 4 and 8 a.m. on Sunday -- hours after a gunman shot and killed 49 people at a gay club in Orlando, Florida.

It is not known if the flag burning was motivated by the shooting.

On Friday night, a new flag was presented to Bourbon during a public event in support of the LGBT community.
