Gas Prices Continue to Decline

The national average has already dropped .17 cents since early April

Just as we were preparing for one of the most expensive summers at the pump, gas prices drop.

In D.C., the average price for a gallon of gas is $3.95, while Maryland drivers are paying $3.72 at the pump.

Virginians can expect to pay $3.81 for a gallon. Drivers in West Virginia are paying $3.75 a gallon when they fill up.

The Energy Department says prices are now expected to remain low during the summer.

The national average for a gallon of gas has already dropped 17 cents since early April.
