A member of MS-13 entered a guilty plea Thursday to allegations he transported a 16-year-old prostitute from Maryland to Virginia.
In July 2011, Rene Ulises Quinteros Gaitan, 24, of Gaithersburg, Md., drove the girl from Frederick, Md., to Richmond, Va., where he prostituted her. He then took her to Prince George's County, Md., where he again prostituted her.
Gaitan pleaded guilty to one count of transporting a minor in interstate commerce to engage in prostitution.
He faces a maximum of life in prison when he is sentenced on November 22.
