A frat house at The George Washington University has been evacuated after the roof of the town house showed signs it could collapse under the heavy snow.

A resident of the Tau Kappa Epsilon house called 911 when he noticed the main structural beam of his top floor room starting to crack and splinter, the GW Hatchet reports.

D.C. fire department spokesman Pete Piringer says as many as seven people left Wednesday and will be housed elsewhere on campus.

"We are throwing parties still; our social life has not been damaged,” house resident Rafi Moersen told the Hatchet. "We are having a house warming party in Guthridge 209."

Awesome! See you guys there.
