A day ahead of the Answer Coalition's highly anticipated war protest, students formed a dance party and boogied through the streets of D.C. with the same goal in mind.

Funk the War was organized by students who want the government to spend less on war and more on education.

"It's a mobile street dance party to say that there needs to be an end to all wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, bring all of our troops home, and to end this war profiteering regime that keeps on happening, because when the students don't have education -- when they can't go to college and they have no jobs -- then their only option is to go into the military," said Howard University student Brian Menifee.

For the most part, the protest was peaceful, minus some minor scuffles with police.

No arrests or injuries have been reported.
