As part of Free Hockey Day, several rinks in the D.C. area are going to be open for free Saturday.
USA Hockey is inviting children ages4 through 9 to try youth hockey, free of charge. It’s part of NHL’s Come Play Hockey month.
More than 500 hockey rinks around the country are participating.
