Free Credit Score?

Consumer Bob reports

advertisement

Viewers have been writing in, asking for ways to get their credit score. We turned to the Federal Trade Commission to get the answer.  It tells us that federal law does allow consumers to get one annual credit report for free- but that does not include your credit score. If you do want your credit score, you typically have to pay for it. To get all three scores, visit myFico.com.

If you want a free copy of your credit report, remember: the only government-approved way to do so is to visit annualcreditreport.com.
