A Frederick County sheriff's deputy who was already facing two charges of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl is now facing two additional charges.
Sam Bowman was indicted on Friday for two additional fourth-degree sex offense counts.
He originally was charged with child sex abuse and just one fourth-degree sex offense.
Bowman was a school resource officer at Walkersville High School, and the incidents with the student allegedly happened between March 9 and March 15.
It's unclear what the incidents were, but police say they began investigating after Child Protective Services called with information from a third party.
