4-Year-Old Injured in Charles Co. Crash Dies

A 4-year-old boy seriously injured when his mother lost control of her car Monday has died.

Dominicque Marie Hodges, 25, was driving her Nissan Maxima eastbound on Billingsley Road in Charles County, Md., when she crashed into a tree. Her three children were in the backseat at the time and all three were injured.

A 2-month-old girl and 6-year-old boy suffered non-life threatening injuries, but 4-year-old Darius Harsha's injuries were life threatening, police said. Harsha died shortly after midnight June 12.

The incident remains under investigation.
