Four Teens Arrested for Allegedly Vandalizing Arlington Skate Park

Police say a group of four caused $35,000 in damage at an Arlington skate park earlier this month.

The damage made June 7 at Powhatan Springs Skate Park on Wilson Boulevard was mostly limited to spray painted graffiti on concrete surfaces.

"Our guys had to come out here and power wash and scrape to get the paint off," Tom Mitchler with Arlington County Parks told News4. ""[It was] a big mess, a lot of labor."

Arlington County Police executed a felony search warrant Wednesday night, which led to the arrests of four individuals, including twin sisters Zoe and Isadora Raizen, 18, along with Marlon Vasquez, 18, and an unnamed juvenile.

"They face multiple charges of felony destruction of property following the extensive damage they caused at the skate park," Dustin Sternbeck with Arlington County Police said.

Skateboarders have been using the parking lot outside Powhattan Springs to skate while it's being cleaned up.
