Former Wizards Player Arrested in Drug Sting

Former Washington Wizards player Javaris Crittenton was arrested Monday for his alleged role in a metro Atlanta drug ring.

Crittenton and a dozen co-conspirators were allegedly a part of a drug trafficking organization, and are accused of selling kilos of cocaine and several hundred pounds of marijuana since June 2012.

This is not Crittenton's first brush with the law. He's already awaiting trial for the 2011 shooting death of an Atlanta woman.

He was suspended from the NBA without pay several years ago when he and teammate Gilbert Arenas pulled guns on each other inside the Wizards locker room.

Crittenton, 26, was drafted 19th in 2007 and retired from the NBA shortly after the locker room incident.
