Former Police Officer Christopher Adams Pleads Guilty to Inappropriate Pictures of Sleeping Woman

A former Prince George's County police officer pleaded guilty Wednesday to taking inappropriate pictures of a sleeping woman.

After initially denying the accusations, Christopher Adams pleaded guilty to second-degree assault in a hotel at National Harbor last year.

The victim was a friend of Adams’ wife. They had been celebrating Adams’ wife’s birthday, and the victim was intoxicated, authorities said. She saw Adams by the side of the bed before she went to sleep on the bathroom floor. When she felt her underwear move, she saw a flash of light, authorities said.

Investigators found photos on Adams’ phone.

Adams will have to perform 150 hours of community service. He resigned from the police force when the victim and her husband complained.
