Food Trucks Booted From Va. High School

Police have asked two food trucks usually parked outside of an Arlington high school to move from the area permanently.

Arlington News reported the food trucks, which are usually parked next to Yorktown High School, have been asked to move away from the property.

According to a spokesperson with the school system, a county ordinance, not a school system rule, says food trucks are not allowed to park within 100 feet of a school.

The school's resource officer Cpl. Jim Tuomey told Arlington News the food trucks have been helpful in keeping students on campus during lunch.
