Flights Back to Normal at Dulles International Airport After Water Pipe Breaks

The flight schedule at Dulles International Airport is back to normal after a burst water pipe in the airport's control tower triggered an alarm and resulted in the diversion of some flights to other airports.

The FAA tower returned to full capacity just before 7 a.m. Monday. Crews at the airport worked through the night to restore normal operations.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority did not comment on the number of flights that had been diverted.
