A water main leak is responsible for killing dozens of fish in Four Mile Run in Arlington.
According to ARLnow the leak sent chlorinated water into Four Mile Run, which killed the fish.
The leak was discovered after low water pressure was reported in the Claremont and Fairlington areas on Tuesday morning. Officials discovered that a 12-inch pipe in the 2400 block of S. Walter Reed Drive was leaking.
Repairs to the water main are now in progress.
