First Lady, Daughters Tour Luray Caverns

Sasha and Malia are getting to see the area's sights -- just like any other 8- and 11-year-olds.

WASHINGTON -- With the first father away on his health care tour, the Obama girls took in one of the area's popular tourist attractions, like any regular family might while school's out for summer.
First lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha did a little sightseeing at Luray Caverns, a popular tourist attraction in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.
The grounds of the caverns feature caves with such geological formations as stalactites and stalagmites.
President Barack Obama was away in Ohio discussing his proposal to overhaul the nation's health care system.
