Fire Truck and Metrobus Involved in Accident

A fire truck and Metrobus were involved in an accident at 14th and Madison streets N.W. this morning.

D.C. Fire was responding to a report of a pedestrian who'd been struck when the fire truck was involved in an accident with a Metrobus, said D.C. Fire spokesperson Pete Piriinger.

EMS evaluated 25 people, and transported 18 passengers, the bus driver and four firefighters to area hospitals. All injuries were minor. 

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
