Fiery DC Crash Leaves 2 in Critical Condition

Two people pulled from a fiery crash in Southeast D.C. are in critical condition, fire officials say.

The car involved in the crash wound up in a ball of flames in a wooded area near 2800 Hillcrest Drive SE, News4's Darcy Spencer reports. It's unclear what caused the car to crash and go off of the road.

Firefighters had to extricate two people from the car and they were taken to a hospital in critical condition, D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted.

A third person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to the fire department.
