A female Frostburg State University student charged with murdering another female student is due in court in Cumberland for a bond review.
Twenty-three-year-old Shanee Liggins of Waldorf has been held without bail since her arrest Sunday in the slaying of 19-year-old Kortneigh McCoy of Baltimore.
The murder happened after a fight at a Maple Street house, located close to the Frostburg State campus. A fight inside the house spilled out onto the street, where police say Shanee Liggins used a knife to stab McCoy to death.
Liggins, a business major, lived in the rented house where the fight began.
Liggins faces first and second degree murder charges. A hearing is set for Monday.
