The local lanes of Interstate 270 northbound are closed between Montrose and Falls roads in Rockville due to a fatal crash.
The crash, which reportedly involved a car and tanker truck, occurred just before 1 p.m.
Maryland State Police are investigating.
The road will be closed for several hours while police investigate.
