Adorable Family Reunion: First Responders Rescue Trapped Goslings

A joint training session for first responders in Northern Virginia turned into a real-life rescue mission Thursday.

Fairfax County Fire & Rescue and Fairfax County Police had teamed up to train together when they discovered two goslings trapped in a storm drain.

A video posted to Twitter by the fire department shows the team working together to pry open a grate and scoop up the babies with a net.

The fire department said the goslings were "a bit scared but unharmed" and were quickly returned to Mom and Dad.

At the end of the video, an officer opened a crate, and the babies ran out to meet a parent. A third baby showed up to greet the family moments later for an adorable family reunion.
