A man robbed a bank in southeast D.C. Wednesday morning and is considered to be dangerous by the FBI.

Just before 11 a.m., the unknown individual entered the Capitol One Bank located at 336 Pennsylvania Ave. SE and passed a teller a note demanding money and implying that he was armed, FBI officials said.

The bank teller gave the robber cash and the robber then left the bank without ever pulling out a weapon, according to officials.

The FBI has provided security photos of the alleged robber who is described as a black male with a dark complexion and beard, 5-feet-7-inches or 5-feet-8-inches tall with a medium build, wearing glasses, a black and gray snow hat with a pattern, and a black puffy coat.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (202) 278-2000.
