Sentencing for a former deputy sheriff in Prince George's County who admitted to having sex with an inmate has been delayed.
Lamar McIntyre was scheduled to learn his fate Thursday morning, but the sentencing hearing was continued until Feb. 14.
Prosecutors have agreed to recommend a sentence of no more than 18 months.
McIntyre pleaded guilty to taking a woman who was waiting to see a judge into a courthouse holding cell and having consensual sex with her in June 2012.
The woman reported the encounter to corrections department staff and McIntyre was ultimately charged.
