Ex-CEO Spent Almost $1 Million of Company's Money on Phone Sex, Prostitutes

Former fast-food CEO sentenced for embezzlement

The former CEO of a fast-food franchise who pleaded guilty to embezzling $885,071 from the company was sentenced Wednesday to two years in prison.

Mark Chandler Goodnow, 56, of Pasadena, Md., also was ordered to pay restitution.

According to his plea agreement, Goodnow, who was president and CEO of Severna Park-based Wings to Go, paid three Texas women for phone sex and to cover their personal expenses as well as prostitutes in Maryland between 2006 and 2012.

Goodnow concealed the more than 200 unauthorized expenditures by reporting them as advertising expenditures.
