Virginia Voters Cast In-Person Absentee Ballots After Sandy
Both President Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney were back in full campaign mode Thursday. Northern Virginia Bureau Chief Julie Carey spoke to voters to see if Hurricane Sandy has had an impact on the campaign.
Early voting is underway in the District and in Maryland, while absentee voting is underway in Virginia. In some cases, voting hours were extended because of disruption from Sandy.
The voting locations and hours are:

During early voting, you can cast your ballot at any location, not just the one in your ward.

MARYLAND
Maryland early voting locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. again Friday. Friday was added to make up for Monday, when voting was cancelled due to the giant storm.
A list of all early voting locations across the state can be found here or by calling the State Board of Elections at 1-800-222-8683.
VIRGINIA
Virginia offers early voting only to absentee voters, who must state why they will not be able to vote on Election Day.
Fairfax County has extended in-person absentee voting hours.
Absentee voting will be held at the Fairfax County Governmental Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 323 Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, satellite absentee voting locations will be open Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
