Police Shoot Man After High-Speed Chase

    A police chase that spanned two counties in Maryland ended with the driver and officer shooting at each other.

    It started Saturday night in Anne Arundel County.  An officer tried to pull a driver over, but they sped off.

    The chase traveled into Prince George's County, and the two exchanged gunfire near Route 3 and Route 450.

    The suspect was hit and taken to a local hospital.  There's no word on his condition.

    The officer was not hit during the incident.
