The lovely spring weather is turning more traditional. Expect rain for the next several days.

High pressure that brought sunshine and warmth the past few days moves away Tuesday night, and a large area of low pressure begins to move through the  region beginning Wednesday, News4 meteorologist Tom Kierein said.

There's a chance of sprinkles Wednesday and light rain Thursday morning. By Thursday evening, the drenching of the region could begin with moderate rainfall.

Rain likely will hang around through Saturday with a chance of continued showers on Sunday and Monday.

Expect highs in the upper 50s and low 60s Wednesday and in the upper 50s through the rest of the weekend.
