Dogs Rescued From Gaithersburg Fire

Montgomery County first responders saved two dogs from a house fire Tuesday afternoon.

Crews responded to the 8400 block of Hawkins Creamery Road just after 4 p.m. There, they saw heavy smoke coming from the back of the home. Additional firefighters were asked to respond and no injuries were reported.

Two dogs were rescued from the home, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
