Authorities have identified the man in a tractor accident as 51-year-old Thomas Barcla.
Barclay was killed after a tractor overturned and pinned him near Frederick, Md., on Saturday, said the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
Rescuers were called to the scene in the 9500 block of Opossumtown Pike just before 6 p.m. Saturday, the Frederick News-Post reported.
A member of the man's family called 911 after the tractor accident.
Barclay had been working on a slight slope when the tractor overturned. Deputies said he died within minutes of emergency responders arriving.
