A man is dead this morning after being stabbed at a Metro station.

District police said it happened at about 3 a.m. at the Congress Heights Metro Station in the 1200 block of Alabama Avenue.

A 21-year-old was killed and two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to Metro.

Police have not identified a suspect. The identity of the victim is also unknown.

It was the second violent crime to occur outside a Metro station in recent days. Friday evening, a man sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl after she left the station in Greenbelt, Md.
