Man Shot, Killed Near Elementary School

Prince George’s County Police are investigating a deadly shooting near an elementary school.
Officers said they were called to Carrollton Elementary School in the 8300 block of Quintana Street at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday for the sound of gunshots.
Police said that by the time officers arrived at the scene, 23-year-old Alusine Kargbo was already taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police said they were trying to determine the exact location of the shooting.
