Maryland Man Charged With Stabbing Man in Eye With Fork

Victim also arrested following fight

A Frederick, Md., man is accused of stabbing another man in the eye with a fork.

Police say Danelle Michael Harris, 35, stabbed Brian O. Braxton during a fight outside an apartment complex on Monday evening.

Harris is charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and possessing a dangerous weapon with the intent to injure.

Braxton was bleeding from a puncture wound to his right eye when he was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital, according to charging documents. However, he was also arrested on charges including disorderly conduct, robbery and assault, reported the Frederick News-Post.

Police say the two men fought in the courtyard of the apartment complex after a woman told Harris that Braxton had choked her and taken money from her.

Online court records show Harris has a preliminary hearing later this month, but no lawyer is listed as representing him yet.
