Occasional showers and oppressive humidity continue to hover over the D.C. area after heavy rains and high humidity contributed to a sticky, wet afternoon.
The storms should be mainly south of D.C. and shouldn't affect Tuesday night's game between the Orioles and Nationals at Nationals Park.
Areas south of the D.C. metro area may see continued rain through Tuesday night. Areas to the north will likely stay dry.
More widespread showers could return to D.C. and areas to the north as midnight nears, Storm Team4 Meteorlogist Amelia Draper says.

Even if rain won't keep you indoors, oppresive humidity might. Temperatures will stay in the upper 70s and lower 80s through the evening.
Wednesday will be hot and humid again with scattered storms in the late afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will stay slightly above normal for this time of the year. The average high is 85 degrees.
