Antonin Scalia got into a car accident on his way to work at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Scalia was not injured in the fender-bender.  A Supreme Court spokesperson said the incident happened on the George Washington Parkway outside of D.C.

Police said that when a line of cars on the road braked, the justice rear-ended the car in front of him.  Scalia was issued a $70 dollar ticket for following too closely.

The 75-year-old justice made it in to work on time for the start of Tuesday's session.

On Tuesday's docket is a class-action lawsuit brought against retail giant Walmart for sexual discrimination.
