Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was involved in a minor accident on the G.W. Parkway on the way to work Tuesday morning.
Antonin Scalia got into a car accident on his way to work at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
Scalia was not injured in the fender-bender. A Supreme Court spokesperson said the incident happened on the George Washington Parkway outside of D.C.
Police said that when a line of cars on the road braked, the justice rear-ended the car in front of him. Scalia was issued a $70 dollar ticket for following too closely.
The 75-year-old justice made it in to work on time for the start of Tuesday's session.
On Tuesday's docket is a class-action lawsuit brought against retail giant Walmart for sexual discrimination.
