DC Prostitution Crackdown Continues with More Arrests

Six men were arrested as part of a continuing effort by the Metropolitan Police Department to crack down on prostitution and human trafficking.

The men were arrested between the evening of July 24 and morning of July 25 in the Trinidad neighborhood in northeast Washington. All those arrested were charged with solicitation of prostitution.

Overall, the operation has arrested 63 men. Forty-one men were arrested during the first week of the enforcement operation, and seven more were arrested overnight Thursday into Friday.

The Narcotics and Special Investigation Division Human Trafficking Unit said the operation would continue.
