Prince William County Police arrested a school teacher for taking indecent liberties with a student on May 6.
Authorities said they received a complaint from Beville Middle School in Woodbridge that one of the students had been touched inappropriately by her instructor.
A 12-year-old girl at the school said that her teacher, Lawrence Eric Lucchetti, 33, had touched her inappropriately.
Police took the Lucchetti into custody there and charged him with aggravated sexual battery and taking indecent liberties. He is being held without bail.
Mr. Lucchetti is listed on the Beville Middle School website as a teacher in the Special and Gifted Education department. He has been a teacher at the school for 2 years. School officials placed Lucchetti on administrative leave.
