A D.C. police officer injured in a crash Thursday night is expected to be OK.
The accident happened at Randle Circle in Southeast at about 10 p.m. Thursday.
The officer was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with injuries that are described as serious, but non-life threatening.
The driver of the other car was also hurt.
The collision may have been the result of a police pursuit that originated in Prince George's County, Md.
