D.C. Police Officer Acquitted of Sex Assaults

Felony charges remain in third case

A D.C. police officer was acquitted of four misdemeanor charges related to accusations he sexually assaulted two women while in uniform and on duty in 2010, the Washington Post reported.

Superior Court Judge Robert E. Morin found 40-year-old Larry Seay not guilty Thursday following a bench trial Tuesday.

Seay still faces felony charges in a 2006 sexual assault case.

Seay was accused of threatening to arrest women and using a gun while forcing them to perform sex acts, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
