D.C. Police Investigate Two Sexual Assaults

Police in the District of Columbia say they're investigating two sexual assaults that took place in the city in the past two days.

The first assault happened Friday at 1:35 a.m. when a woman answered a knock on her door in the 5200 block of Just Street NE. A man forced his way in and sexually assaulted the victim, police said.

The second assault happened Saturday about 5 a.m. An adult woman was locked out of her home in the 1400 block of Webster Street NW and accepted help from a man, police said. Once inside, the man sexually assaulted the victim. The man may go by the name “Saul,” police said.
