Three days into the New Year, police in D.C. are investigating their second homicide.
It happened Tuesday evening in the 1500 block of 45th Street Northeast, not far from the Maryland border.
Police say a man was shot multiple times while he was inside his home.
The victim's name has not been released. Investigators are still working to determine any suspect description or motive in the shooting.
