D.C. Motorist Hits 13 Vehicles, Including School Bus

D.C. police arrested a motorist after 13 vehicles, including a a school bus carrying special needs students, were struck in the 4200 block of East Capitol Street NE Wednesday afternoon, News4’s Jackie Bensen reports.

The driver fled the scene but was apprehended in the 4700 block of East Capitol Street NE.

Police conducted field sobriety tests on the suspect. He acted erratically and is suspected of PCP use, Bensen reported.

One child was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Eastbound lanes were closed in the area.
