A D.C. man pleaded guilty Monday to charges related to two separate sexual assaults in the same home.

James Parks, also known as Antonio Parks, 22, of the district, pled guilty in D.C. Superior Court to one count of attempted first-degree sexual abuse and one count of misdemeanor sexual abuse.

Police say that on Jan. 25, Parks sexually assaulted an unconscious woman in a bedroom of a home on 23rd Street SE.

Three weeks later, on the night of Feb. 14, Parks returned to the same home with another man, authorities said. The men allegedly forced another woman into the basement, where Parks sexually assaulted her.

Parks is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 16. He faces up to 15 years in prison on the attempted first-degree sexual abuse charge and 180 days on the misdemeanor charge.

He will be required to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
