UPDATE: All lanes open and moving at noon Sunday.

A tractor-trailer accident forced the closure of the Outer Loop of the Beltway Sunday morning.

At 9 a.m., only one lane of the Outer Loop was getting by between Rockville Pike and Connecticut Avenue.  An oil spill related to the accident has slicked the roadway there.

No injuries have been reported, but there are major delays for motorists.

Maryland State Police tell News4 the cleanup of gas and oil could take hours to complete.  Drivers are advised to avoid the area Sunday morning.
