A DC councilmember wants a popular nightclub shut down after a man was stabbed early Saturday morning.
Councilmember Tommy Wells said XII Restaurant and Lounge, also known as Club XII, on H and 12th Streets NE should remain closed until better security is increased at the location. One man was stabbed during a fight inside the club, but is expected to be fine.
Club 12’s liquor license is up for renewal next month. This incident is like to come up at the hearing.
The club is temporarily closed.
