Montgomery County police are investigating a bank robbery on Bethesda Avenue Tuesday.
They received a report of a robbery at 10:05 a.m. at the Capitol One Bank, near Wisconsin Avenue.
Montgomery County police said a man entered the bank, waited in line to speak to a teller and then presented a note asking for money. He also implied that he was carrying a weapon, police said.
The man was given cash and then fled on foot.
Authorities said the suspect, who was caught on camera, is a light-skinned African American male, approximately 175 pounds, 5'9'' tall and around 30 years old. He has a shock of white hair.
Anyone with information about the case should contact police at 1-866-411-TIPS.
It was the second bank robbery in the county in as many days, the Associated Press reported. Police said an M&T Bank in Wheaton was held up on Monday, though the suspect in that case was caught after a foot chase and taken into custody.
